Implementation Guides
Guidance to Effectively Use Research-Based Resources
To support Higher Education Institutions, State Departments of Education, School and District Leaders, and caregivers working in local settings, the EAC has developed Implementation Guides to support the use of research- based practices (RBRs) throughout the education system.
Specifically, the guides provide step-by-step guidance on the key actions needed and how to identify the conditions and supports that are in place for the effective use of the RBRs. This is accomplished by identifying and planning for potential contextual factors that potentially facilitate or hinder progress in the use of evidence-based research and practices. Implementation guides are based on the science of implementation and have robust evidence in education, health, and human services disciplines (Fixsen & Blase, 2020; Nilsen, 2020). Each guide is accompanied by a spreadsheet that you and your team can use to track your progress with implementing research-based resources.
